A bit of smoke ash in aroma. Toast in taste. Only the slightest hint of sourness in finish. From Premier Gourmet. Opaque black. Big mocha lacing. Make it warm to room first.

22oz bottle served in a tulip. Pours jet black with little head. Bitter roasted chocolate with some coffee. Don't pick up any Notes from the barrels. Decent beer but nothing special.

Poured from a 22oz bottle, almost no head but good carbonation. the little head that develops dissipates quickly. Beer is as dark as advertised.
I get very little aroma from the beer.
The taste is quite good, smooth and malty, and has a singular and unique flavor profile.
The mouthfeel is not as creamy as i would like but is quite good.A little thinner than one might expect here.
Overall, an excellent beer thatI would drink again.
