Poured out of a growler into my Duvel tulip.
A - Pours a very light golden brown color. Head rolled out at about one inch. Pure white. Quickly recedes to just a light coat. Faint lacing on glass. Well carbonated.
S - Some light fruit smell almost seems like grapes. Just a bit citrusy as well. Tad sweet in the nose.
T - Crisp and complex taste. Tastes of toasted nuts and grapes. Has some biscuity flavor as well. Malt is there albeit light. Honey seems to bring the sweetness. Just a faint spiciness.
M - Like the taste this is one clean, crisp Kolsch. Refreshing. Dry at the finish. No trace of alcohol at all.
D - Immensely drinkable. Dangerously drinkable. I want more.
* Reviewer is a total homer for TBC brews. Matt the brewer is the man. Reviewer suggests you go and get a few beers and try them for yourself.

First had: on tap at the Corner Cafe, Tequesta, FL
Kolsches aren't my thing really, but since TBC was closed and this was one of the few of their brews they had on tap next door at the Corner Cafe, I figured I go for a taster. Clearish golden-yellow pour with a fuzzy white head that retained as a ringlet and left a bit of lacing on the glass. Aroma of cereal grains, corn, and slight fruit notes, possibly from the hops. Taste was similar, toasted grains, corn, light herbal and earthy hops, and a subtle fruity undertone that almost reminded me of the flavor you might get from Belgian yeast. Light body, pretty easily drinkable. Not my style, but not bad for the style.
