we stopped in a few times prior to it's opening and when served from the cafe' next door, on Friday's often other homebrewers there with latest brews they have concocted with samples
served in american pint glass 12-13oz well chilled , improves some warming up
good carbonation settling to 1" head red/straw color
first taste of malt , citroen or simcoe hops with hop bite at finish
a little pricey for microbrewery ale will i go back? probably not , food next door is good but also gold plated so to speak ,no food served inside the brewery but can order as takeout from next door ..there is a small hallway interconnecting the 2 places some odd rule with the town. We went on to sample others from here and some seemed almost like synth beers we call them, catchy names but now in production mode to get barrels out the door last visit to the brewery. Something's changed in their techniques and not same ales we were getting when they were a small operation in the cafe, perhaps Matt the owner needs to taste his own beer from time to time
Serving type: on-tap

Cask at the brewery. Served in a pint glass.
Appearance - Copper hazy body. Medium white head. Some lacing.
Smell - Grapefruit. Pithy grapefruit. Some sweetness. A little musty.
Taste - Very grapefruity. A touch of sweetness before a strong grassy bitterness kicks in. Very grainy.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and creamy. Low carbonation but bitter.
Overall - The cask elevates this. Good hop flavor and a nice body.
Serving type: cask
