Notes/Commercial Description:
Traditionally, Farmhouse Ales were brewed on farms in the French and Flemish regions of Belgium. These beers were born out of necessity as most water was not potable and the farmers needed a refreshing beverage to offer the hardworking farmhands. Our rendition was developed in the spirit of that tradition. The beer pours golden with a floral nose and a soft underlying hop bitterness with a crisp finish.

750 ml bottle. Pours hazy milky yellow with a huge creamy white head that retains well (it's actually growing), and leaves a bunch of lacing.

The aroma is earthy funky yeast with some sweet bready malt and a little fruit and spice.

The flavor is sweet bready malts with a little fruit and some funky yeast. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a decent saison.

Pours a crystal clear golden straw color with a frothy pure white head that settles into a chunky cap.

The aroma is faint. There is a weak clove from the yeast and a weak multi-grain bread note from the malt. A bit corn like.

The taste is of a light pils malt; a bit watery. The yeast provides more of a clove presence than the aroma. Perhaps a hint of pepper. Very light in the flavor.

The feel is light and very fizzy. Quite airy on the palate. Not much of a presence of anything. Very neutral.

An extremely boring saison. Almost no flavor to this beer. No real off flavors so there is that. Pass on this beer.

Pours a slightly hazy light gold... good white head and tons of lace...

Nose is interesting... nice phenols... some dry pale malts... seems like a cross between a dry German hefe and a bubblegummy saison... odd, but still pretty cool.

The palate is just as odd... slight white peppercorn.. but the big player is pink bubblegum... not a bad thing at all... just odd for my palate.... a bit of apricot ester... but the brew is very dry.... the bubblegum make this one seem to be a one hit wonder.. pale maltiness carry the yeastiness and let little for the imagination...

The carbonation and body seem about right.... very drinkable... I pulled this one out a few times tonight...

The beer pours a fairly strong and foamy head that lasts quite a while. The beer is clear and a pale yellow. The beer also leaves quite a bit of lacing. The beer has a strong earthy smell as well as a bit of dry fruit as well as a bready smell from the malts. The hops are fairly strong and bitter. The taste is similar the smell but with a stronger hop not. The hop is still bitter but the malts are downplayed even though they still add a bit of bready flavor. The beer has an interesting mouthfeel. The finish is drier than most saisons but is very crisp otherwise. The carbonation is biting. Overall, the beer is pretty good ad worth getting.
