Pour is a hazy golden amber with a fairly tight white head. Nose has a fair bit of grain, lots of lemon esters, and lactic acid. Taste has a strong lemon up front, stale grain mid palate, lots of lingering lemony esters. Finish is fairly strong on lactic acid, carb is strong and body is light. Flavors are dominated by fruity esters and lactic acid, still fairly enjoyable.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Hazy golden yellow. Nice big white head. Lasts forever.

Smell - Lemony and estery. A bit of hay.

Taste - Lemony again. Lemon acidity, too. Wheaty in the middle. Very musty with a slight white wine finish.

Mouthfeel - Very light. Coats the mouth with sour aftertastes. Well carbonated.

Overall - Flavorful, but not complex.

Bottle at home.

A clear gold with a dense white head with excellent retention and nice lacing, this is nice to look at. The nose is bright and refreshing with a clean lactic sourness, some grain, a little honey , some straw and unripe stone fruit. Some lemon as well. The base saison yeast is whelmed a bit, but i cant complain, as this beer is great without the spicy notes. The palate opens tart with a clean, very refreshing sourness. Reminiscent of unripe peaches, the acidity is quite prominent. Behind it are notes of honey, straw and grain. Light in body, this beer is crisply carbonated and has a long, clean, yogurty lactic finish. Very nice, this has improved since the release, but I wouldn't hold onto it much longer.
