This beer is brewed exclusively for our annual Mother's Day Festival.
Mother’s anniversary beer! To be released the night of Mother’s Day in bombers only. After hearing a neighbor kid call our brewery the Love Factory, we knew the sweet little gal had found the perfect name for Mother’s anniversary beer. This special brew is fully loaded with tons of love and tasty goodness. Guess you could say it’s all heart. The missing ingredient to unlock this pleasure puzzle? Just you. We really can’t express how much Mother’s appreciates you, but we’re hoping Love Factory makes for a good start. Enjoy. Sip now or cellar-flavors will continue developing over time. When ready for Love, chill to 45-50F and savor with fine friends.

Note: 2015 Release
The previous couple of years were pretty awful, but this 2015 bottle was pretty good. I'm 90% sure this is the first year Mothers aged it in barrels (sherry?). I thought this was an imperial red, but I can't find anything on the bottle. It drinks much like a good, English barley-wine. Fruity notes of dark, stone fruit and sherry. Plums, raisins. Hides the alcohol pretty well. A good change from the previous years, but definitely a sipper.

22oz bottle poured into a Cantillon taster 7/7/2014.
A- Quite honestly, this pours a fairly ugly light brown body with a two finger offwhite head with minimal retention and no lacing.
S- Fairly bland. Sweet toffee and sugar; that's really about it.
F- Tastes kind of like iced tea in the sense that there is a tapioca-like toffee sweetness, presumably from the malt, and a white sugar presence. Arizona iced tea comparison is more apt here.
M- Thinner bodied, watery, not particularly well carbonated but it's certainly fairly decent as far as drinkability goes. After all, its kind of like drinking iced tea.
O- Iced tea beer. That's all I can really say about it. It's not horrible, but it's not great either.
