Got this one at the De Molen beer shop in Bodegraven.
From a bottle into a snifter
Best before 30 July 2014
APPEARANCE: A slow foamer. Pours a huge, three plus finger, very loose, bubbly, foamy, off-white head with decent retention. Perfectly clear burnt orange in color with no carbonation evident. Odd. Head slowly fades to a foamy, soapy cap. Bubbly wisp remains leaving some foamy dots down the glass. Color was nice, but the head an abomination.
SMELL: Grainy nose. Bread, light melon and caramel with floral hops as well. Soapy notes with some spicy yeast too. Off for an IPA.
TASTE: Pretty awful. Sweet grain and bread up front with some soapy notes as well. Bold aftertaste of soapy hops, floral bitterness and some sweet bread and spicy yeast flavors lingers. Not good. Too grainy and soapy.
PALATE: Thin body and light on the palate with bubbly, airy carbonation. Goes down airy and bubbly, finishing dry on the palate. Bitterness lingers. Light, airy and over carbonated.
OVERALL: Another lousy Brewfist beer. Too grainy and spicy for the style, with a bomb full of carbonation, which ruins both the look and feel. Not worth the calories, and I'm starting to think this brewery is a lost cause. Avoid.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of June 2013 (batch 2261). Picked up the other day from Trembling Madness in York. I've never heard of this brewery before and thought I'd give them a whirl. The label mentions that it has 52 IBUs.
Poured into a Delirium chalice. Bottle conditioned. A hazy coppery-amber hue with decent carbonation. Yields a reasonable head of creamy off-white foam that hangs around for a minute or two before collapsing to a thin surface layer. Aroma of tangy aromatic hops with notes of grapefruit, citrus, white grapes and faint tropical fruit. Underpinned by sweet caramel malt and dry yeast. Fruity!
Tastes of aromatic hops with a strident bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, citrus, stewed hops, faint caramel malt and earthy yeast. Considerable bitterness upon swallowing; bordering on harsh. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and spicy, but watery and thin. Pretty astringent. Aftertaste of very bitter aromatic hops.
A solid effort, if imperfect. Looks nice, and the aroma is great - tons of fragrant citrus notes. However the malt hardly comes through in the flavour; it's all aromatic hops with an excessive bitterness. The mouthfeel is also lacklustre. A good stab at an American IPA, just not quite a top tier product. Still, interesting and worth trying if you come across it.

Pours dark amber with a large, lasting head.
Nose shows grapefruit, floral, piny and spicy hops along with caramel and soft bready malt.
Flavours include more spicy and piny hops, as well as a bit of the bready malt. Finishes with a sharp, bold bitterness, but seems a bit metallic.
Body seems a little thick.

Picked this up at my favorite beer store in Belgium, Dranken Geers. Slightly hazy copper-amber pour with one finger head with decent retention and nice lacing. Earthy malty nose with subdued citrusy hop notes. The taste yields a bit more of the hoppiness I was expecting. Hints of orange zest, pine, tea, apricot, and caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly syrupy with a nice tangy, bitter finish. This is not in the same league as Spaceman, but still a solid offering from up and coming Brewfist.

Hazy amber with thick ecru froth that clings and speckles. Thick caramel, candied orange and some pine resin on the nose.
Mango, toasted hazelnuts and more caramel followed by gooey, sappy, orangey hops with some Simcoe-ish earthiness.
Sour Seville orange end and orange peel bitter linger. Medium, clingy, chewy.
Juicy, sticky IPA. Flavors are laid down in thick blocks, there's no real intricacy here. But it could sure pass for (slightly above average) American.
According to brewery website, hops are Magnum, Amarillo, Cascade, and Motueka.

Pours an amber colour, slight red tinge and slightly cloudy. Head is creamy-coloured, nice and dense and foamy. Nice-looking English style brew.
Plenty of malt on the nose with a touch of nuttiness. Hops are mild and woody and I guess English in character but there sure aren't a lot of them. Bit of sweetness but for an IPA it's a disappointing aroma.
Taste is not too sweet; more nutty malt upfront with a dry hoppy finish, quite earthy with a touch of POR but the notion of it actually being POR is absurd. Bitterness is prevalent but not very big. Touch of spice and quite rich and dark.
A little bit too much tingle on the texture, but alright.
Not a bad English IPA but it goes further to cement this as a style I don't really care for. I'm still waiting for one of these to prove me wrong, and since the English can't seem to do it I had hopes for the Italians. Oh well, no hard feelings.

Tried on-tap at the Local Taphouse in Sydney, during the Italian SpecTapular festival.
Pours a hazed bronze colour, with a filmy, bubbly ring of white. Lace is pretty decent if patchy, leaving some solid residuals as the head goes down.
Grainy malt on the nose, with just a touch of earthy hops to give some contrast. It comes across feeling a little skunky, to be perfectly honest. Eh. I'm unimpressed.
Light entry, with some mild earthy, and vegetative hop characters coming through. Body feels pretty light and dead, leaving the beer overall to feel incredibly bland. Very weak finish and pretty light mouthfeel as well.
Bland. Pointless. Dull. The question you have to ask is "why?". very unimpressed.

Pours a murky dark orange marmalade hue which leaves a one finger head and clingy lacing here and there, the smell is fresh honeycomb, marmalade, floral hops and marzipan, the mouthfeel is just over lightbodied too thin for me and has tastes of orange marmalade, toffee, honeycomb, ripe nectarines, marzipan, sherbet and finished with a floral bitterness and overall its alright without being great but better than average cheers.

Ruby red color, beautiful and bright. An almost white foam, decent.
In thesmell american hops, well balanced with english hops. Anyway, a beer characterized by the hop.
A good fruitiness, tangerine, peppery touches. Balanced.
Well balanced in the taste, too, with malt, a touch of caramel, and hops.
Light to medium body, with a good herbal bitterness in the aftertaste. Again some tangerine in the finish.

330ml bottle purchased at a Marui Marui (0101?) in Japan and served in my little hotel tumbler. I don't see any indication of a bottled on or best by date.
Pours hazy brownish amber with a pretty large light tan creamy head. Fades medium fast, leaves the beginnings of some heavy lacing on the side of my glass. Lots of carbonation. Smell is mildly grassy, mildly toasty.
Taste is caramelly with a slow mild hoppy middle and then a creamy smoothness, more of that caramel, finally a slight piney bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is a little heavy, surprisingly not sticky. Overall, it's not too bad. Nothing terribly notable to say about it, although the creaminess in the flavor is fairly interesting.
