330ml bottle poured into a tulip glass
Look: Dark golden yellow/amber with a faint haze - I think this beer is unfiltered so the haze would be from sediment in the bottle. Fingers width of off-white head which diminishes to a thin foam cap. Not a lot in the way of lacing.
Smell: Yep, it's an IPA all right - a bit of citrus up front but this is soon overtaken by the overwhelming resinous tang of the hops. Heavy pine aromas, with maybe the faintest hint of yeast and malt. Very much hop forward though.
Taste: Very hop-forward - grapefruit and other citrus initially, but quickly overwhelmed by the grassy, piney, resiny hops. Overall, pretty bitter - not surprising since the bottle states that this is 70 IBU. It certainly lives up to that.
Feel: Fairly light with medium carbonation - the finish is very, very dry and sticks around long after the last mouthful. Hopheads will probably go for this, others not so much.
Overall: Not brilliant by Brewfist standards, and given the crowded nature of the IPA market, American-style IPAs in particular, there's nothing really here that lifts it above the competition. Sure, it's tasty and refreshing but there are lot of other IPAs out there that tick the same boxes. Good, but nothing special.

July 2015: 330 ml bottle, BB date 30.06.2013, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.0%. Gusher bottle, the glass fills completely with foam, and the beer emerges slowly. Cloudy orange colour, huge white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, notes of tropical fruits and citrus, some spicy notes too. Hoppy flavour too, not too sweet, fruity and spicy notes, some pine in the aftertaste. . Enjoyable beer - might well buy again.

6,50€/14 oz. on tap @ La Botticella of Poggi Giovanni, Roma, IT on 28 November 2022
Look: Clear amber in color beneath a finger's width of white foam. Very good head retention and lacing with solid walls of lace left behind.
Smell: Herbal, piney, grainy, and caramelish.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma although it's more herbal. It's spicy as well, and softly fruity with apple, peach, and citrus. A firm bitterness balances it and it finishes dry with a dull bitterness and herbal notes lingering.
Feel: Medium to medium-light in body and crisp with a standard carbonation level.
Overall: It appears that Italian brewers are getting much better at brewing American style beers.

A-Golden amber with no real head to speak of
S-Dank hops with nice fruit in the background
M-Smooth mouthfeel with very low end carbonation that works beautifully with the style and bitterness
T-Very smooth and well crafted brew. Great iteration of a west coast IPA
O-In a land of yellow beer crud, this beer is a revelation and absolute epiphany of flavour on a scalding hot day!!

Pours a golden colour, qieh a medium retention head that leaves a normal lace. Aroma of pinde, citrics, come grapefruts and caramel. Medium body, carbonation is OK. Standard carbonation. Taste of citrics, pine, caramel. Good.
