Golden blonde with a pristine white head. Impressive retention.
Pungent funkiness, hay, lemon and grapefruit, spicy Belgian yeast, wine barrel. Worth spending some time admiring.
Earthy dull bitterness, a little funk, but not as much expected by smell. Slightly medicinal. Citrus, especially grapefruit shows up underneath and extends into a lengthy bitter and tannic finish. Grapefruit really picks up steam at room temperature.
Feel is light, spritzy and dry. Carbonation is full, but on the softer side.
This started out a bit dull, but at a warm temperature, the citrus hops really shined. It easily topped the Midnight Sun 3767 for me. Great beer.
