Appearance: Pours a hazy straw color with a high level of carbonation. About 1.5" of eggshell white head forms after the pour, which has a nice tight structure to it, almost pillow like. Very good retention and lacing. Very good looking beer.
Smell: Funky up front. No sourness component, but just pure Brett funk. Underneath a plethora of hop scents. Very tropical in nature with pineapple, mango, and citrus.
Taste: Veritable explosion of tropical hop flavors up front. Mango, peach, and pineapple are prevalent. A perfect amount of Bretty funk along with a bit of bitterness on the back end and finish.
Mouthfeel/Overall: Medium bodied with ample carbonation. The Brett funk and bitterness on the back end lends to a dry finish that makes you want to take another sip. Overall, I enjoyed this beer a great deal. The hop character and funk blend perfectly together and create a great product. Easily the best Belgian IPA I have tried to this point.
