Pours a bright orange colour, hint of amber, lots of cloud. Head is jaundiced beige, nice and effervescent but pleasant uneven sinkage. Lace left is pretty damn fine. Looks... well, Gilbert? What do you think? Does it look perfect? No? Are you kidding me? Well, screw you Gilbert, you don't exist. I say it looks perfect.
Smell is funky and wonderful. So much lively, lovely funk smell that just speaks volumes of story to me. Notes of barnyard with lemon pith, livestock and fresh-cut grass, but an acidic note with citrus that cuts through, followed by a sweet-spicy note of cinnamon, vanilla, orange peel, and some cake batter malt. What do you think, Gilbert? What? You think it's a 3, tops? Well, you're wrong again. Not only are you wrong, but you don't exist and you slept with my wife, you prick.
Taste starts very sweet. Maybe a bit too sweet? Lots of malt to that with plenty of caramel and a big hit of vanilla. The wild yeast creeps up though, cleansing it, with some mild hints of lemon, passionfruit and guava, all with a nice vinegary edge that remains drinkable. Slightly savoury at the back, maybe biscuity? It's clean at the back, which is great, although the fruit notes are more subdued here. Still, crisp but with all the lovely flavours I want in a beer. Sweet, touch of tartness late-mid, then clean but plenty of flavour left over. Gilbert? Is this the best beer I've ever drunk? No, you're wrong. The clean finish is something I didn't expect, and it becomes that 'je ne sais quoi' that raises this delicious beer yet another level. It's just immaculate.
It's sharp on the front but then somehow levels out to a smooth texture. It has the effect of nudging you so you know you're drinking something with a power that's out of this world, but it doesn't overwhelm your mortal palate. Ideal.
This beer almost made me cry, it was that good. After 1200+ reviews this has become the beer I want to settle down with in the country and somehow engineer a mutant beer-human hybrid family with. Despite Gilbert yapping away in my ear about gastronomic subjugation or some shit, I can't give it anything besides a perfect score.

Love Buzz is an apricot orange beauty. A touch of haze runs through the body but she absolutely glows. The dirty white, soapy head rises to a shallow one finger in height before falling to a skim coat with a dense ring of foam that leaves sticky lace decorating the glass after each drink.
Good Lord this beer smells amazing! I didn't expect this. Right up front is all Citra, a veritable fruit salad of tropical goodies. A touch of lactic sweetness flows through the back as well, which I always get from Citra. Bright rose hips and orange peel shine in the middle. Soft and subtle horsey brett bring up the rear. Soft oak, grape must, the list goes on and on. Faint malt sweetness in the form of cookie dough compliments every aspect perfectly. This is honestly one of the best smelling beers I have ever come across.
The flavor can't quite live up to the lofty expectations the nose has laid down but it's not far off either. The tropical fruit salad thrives. Mango and papaya, lactic sweet pineapple, orange peel, and zesty grape must are all standing at attention. Soft rose hips run through the middle while that horse funk, softly starts to pick up. Malt sweetness finishes things off with the fruitiness overriding it all. The depth is staggering.
The body has a moderate weight with snappy coronation that keeps the beer moving. While there's sweetness upfront, tannins from the barrel dry out my gums and the swallow. There's also a mild hop bitterness on the finish. This beer is amazingly drinkable.
Anchorage hit it out of the park with Love Buzz. The nose is flat out amazing! There is layer upon layer of delicious fruit, funk, barrel, rose hips, and more. It's an all around great beer. I need to find more bottles of this as soon as possible. If you find any of these bottles around buy them all.

Poured from bottle into HF Tulip. Not sure of the year bottled, but im assuming 2013.
Popped cork and brett funk filled the nose (and I opened this outside!)
Pours a nice golden color with a healthy froathy head. Really nice carbonation.
Aromas of brett funk, slight floral notes, and a tad of caramel or sweet notes maybe??
Taste is fruity brett funk with a definite floral punch...a nice sweet fruity caramel finish. The typical saison like flavors are somewhat muted but still know its a saison.
Its really dry...pretty much perfect. I mean this is an absolute perfect mouthfeel for me. Really nice carbonation, dry, but still chugable with a bitter kick to finish.
Overall, this is an amazing brew as you can expect from Gabe. Really freakin awesome!
