Pours a deep gold, not much of a head on top. visible bubbles rising. Apple and grains on the nose. The taste is nothing extraordinary but not forgettable either. Just plain and inoffensive, and sometimes that is exactly what you want. Prickly and crisp and clean mouthfeel. I would buy this again

I got them at the LCBO in Ontario 330ml bottles at 5%.
Poured into glass with 1 finger head clean and crisp some malt but not much bitterness.
Overall an ok pilsner expected a little more bite to it but it was ok. .
Cheers

330 ml bottle, from Meny Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Organic and gluten free, brewed with 40% fairtrade rice. Golden colour, small white head. Sweetish and sickly aroma, nothing there to make me want the first sip. Thin body. The flavour is first dry, then a little fruity sweetness comes through, some sourish notes, very little hops, dry and grainy aftertaste. Waste of money - won't buy again.

Interesting pils rendition. Almost defies the adage "don't do three new things at once."
Looks like a normal pils. My nose doesn't detect adjuncts (but we know they are there because the brewer uses rice.)
Taste has nothing wrong with it... But by the low ratings, some guys may want more hops... but at 5% Mongozo is trying.
OA, here is what I mean about doing three new things at once... it is a tough task. Low gluten is not new, but putting it with organic really restricts who you can buy from. Then adding in the third experiment, the fair trade, that makes it really hard. Very limited suppliers and then you have to adjust the recipe lots. Change one thing at a time, get it right and then try the second. After launching into that lecture, I went on Mongozo's website and think they are good guys and I give them some Overall Big Hugs.

330 ml bottle served cold into a tulip. Purchased for $3.35 CDN. Appears to be brewed by Brasserie LHuyghe (Delerium Tremens) now. Also appears to be gluten-free. Best before November 2018.
Appearance - Nice rich golden color, plenty of clarity and a half finger of fluffy white head rests on top for a brief while. Soapy head stays a little longer.
Smell - Clean and grainy with grassy elements, some pepper and a subtle caramel sweetness.
Taste - Fairly clean, some honey esque sweetness, lacking the hoppy crispness of many a good pilsner.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and medium bodied, drinks more like a blonde ale than a crisp hoppy pilsner. Just something missing here. Carbonation is about right.
Overall - Pretty good given it's gluten free, but lacks the crispness that I enjoy (as do many others) in a good pilsner.

Bottle at KwakInn, Riga, Latvia
A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. it poured with thin layer of white bubbles on surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Faint aromas of rancid fruits such as sorghum are present in the nose along with faint hints of malts.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a slightly bit more in the way of malty flavors and light hints of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied, clean and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is not bad for a gluten-free beer and isn't as rancid as some of the other similar beers that I've had before

Pours gold with a rich head. This is a beer with a mild flavor but a surprisingly complex profile. Lots of honey, banana and yeast which I found surprising. Also astringent and bitter toward the end.

From a 330ml bottle, pours a clear light golden colour with a layer of white head that disapates to a ring.
Aroma malt, grass, lemon.
Taste grass, lemon, like a shandy (beer with lemonade). It's ok for a gluten free beer.

Serving Type: 330 mL Bottle with a best before date of Oct. 2017 (Seems like too long of a lifespan for a light beer)
A- Pours a clear golden colour (slightly darker than a common AAL) with a nearly non-existent head: A thin layer of white fizz that tapers off quickly. No lacing.
S- Caramel malts, light grassy/floral notes.
T- Grainy and a slight sweet rice note, finished off with a grassy hop note. Bit of an off sour taste.
M- Light-Medium body and moderate carbonation.
O- To be brutally honest, theres nothing really here that you can't get in a BMC product (other than the lack of gluten, if that's what you are looking for). Overall, an unmemorable beer.
