750ml bottle.

A: Pours a fairly clear pale straw color with a huge, bubbly, airy, bright white head that faded into a thin film and collar.
S: Bright and salty notes of pale malts, straw, and sea salt. Faint notes of stone fruits and golden fruits come through as well.
T: Follows the nose with a touch more fruit coming through. I get notes of peach, apricot, straw, crackery malt, and black pepper. The finish is noticeably salty, and the aftertaste has notes of green apple, earth grainy wheat, and slight lemon.
M: Medium body, splashy carbonation, semi-crisp and dry mouthfeel. A bit heavier and greasier than I would have liked. Faint acidity.
O: Smooth and refreshing. Not overly tart, not overly salty. Could be drier, but delicious flavor.

Appearance - Pours a hazy golden straw color with a finger width white head.Fair retention, resulting in little patches of suds across the surface. Virtually no lacing.

Smell - Slightly sour notes with grainy undertones.

taste - Wow, a punch in the mouth undetected by the nose. A direct tartness delivered with green apple, lemon and sour cherry, backed by slight grainy notes that hit by mid-taste, and all mellows into the finish, especially a nice, mellow lemony aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - Light to Medium-bodied with low carbonation. Smooth and drinkable, but nothing too remarkable.

Overall - I'm not too familiar with goses, but this sure seemed like a friendly welcome wagon into the style. Nice and punchy without becoming too cloyingly sour. Fair balance. Would definitely try again, and a style I'll try to explore sometime in the future.

A- Golden yellow hue with a thin, off white head.

s - indistinct yeastiness.

t - peaches up front with a light bitterness that picks up and holds on all the way through the finish, begging for another sip.

m- medium bodied, effervescent.

d- overall a very drinkable brew. Light, tart, effervescent ... very good on a warm night.
