Bottled April 2014.
Deep, bright copper color, with a ring of froth leaving some lace. Looks very good in the glass.
Natural, restrained blackberry aroma, along with some attractive earthiness and dried leaves, and a bit of acetic tang. Quite nice.
On the palate, fairly sour and vinegary. Bright, tangy blackberry vinegar, and some underlying old barrel and earthiness. Not as pretty and delicate as the aroma, but well composed, refreshing, and quite tasty.
Smooth, cushy texture thanks to very tiny bubbles. Plenty of acidic tingle.
