Peach de Brettaville is a harmonious marriage of fruit and beer, bringing together our love for brett saisons and farm fresh fruit. We brewed our Saison Dolores and fermented it with our mixed collection of brettanomyces strains, and aged it in wine barrels and our foeders with plenty of juicy peaches and nectarines.
After months of maturing and blending, this saison has developed a balance between earthy funk and stone fruit sweetness with a dry, white wine-like finish, perfect for pairing with creamy cheeses and braised pork.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Sour is not my go to style, but this one’s an exception. Hazy golden body, tart juicy aroma. This is what a sour should be. Taste is also juicy, big stone fruit flavors, puckering, dryness at the finish. Super delicious.

From the shoulder of the bottle: "1324230816"
Appearance: The body is a light opaque straw color and there is a very short-lived white head. It fades out leaving nothint but a small thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma: It has a bit of a souring fruit smell like strawberries left in a field, but not quite as rich smelling.
Taste: Up front there is a touch of what tastes like cinnamon. There beer is tart. The aftertaste has a bit of a moldy character to it which is a bit off-putting. At first there is no peach character to the beer at all but about four or five sips in a peach flavor appeared somewhere between the middle and end of the sip. It was there for a second and then subsequent sips lacked the same peach flavor. After a while an alcohol flavor started to show up too. The flavors seem to be all over the place but it is about on-par with the average sour.
Mouthfeel: It has a nice dry and light mouthfeel with good tartness.
Overall: The beer advertises itself as a "FARMHOUSE ALE AGED IN OAK BARRELS WITH PEACHES." There is a bit of peach flavor in there, which only really shows up every now and then. Mostly it just tastes like an average sour. I probably wouldn't pick it up again and I really wouldn't recommend it over some of the other average-placed sour beers on the market.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy golden burnt yellow to orange color with a thin film of a white head. Lacing is slim. The smell started off with vinous citrus sourness with a big quality of bitterness hitting tart orange rind. Some citrus juices. Peaches are extremely subtle. The taste was extremely sour through the orange rind. Peaches do show some light sweetness in the flavor. Slides into the aftertaste. Dry sour finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sipping quality to it. Carbonation hits appropriately. But sour harshness, damn, yeah, just hits extremely hard in the feel. Overall, well, it smells and tastes great, but the feel, hmmm...yeah, damn that’s some harsh stuff, wooee, nice to try, unsure if I would have again.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving only some wisps of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with notes of peaches.
T: The taste follows the smell, and is mostly dominated by sour flavors along with hints of peaches.
M: It feels light-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is a pleasant sour, but the peach aromas and flavors seem to struggle to peak through among the sourness and other flavors.

Pours a hazed straw color with 2 fingers of beige colored head. Great lacing & no head retention
S: Peach, grassyness, whitewine, tartness once warm
T: Follows the nose, powedery dryness too up front. Peach, honeysuckle, oaky dryness & a little acidity as this warms, tartness kicks in big-time. Oaky dryness, Brett tartness, a little white wine in the finishes, some acidity as well, just a little peach sweetness lingers in the background
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation that builds as it warms
Refreshing, pretty flavorfull, good, but I was thinking it would be a little better
