Pours a light brown color with golden edges with an off white head. Smell is sour, tart wheat (sourdough?), a touch of cherry. Taste is more of the same but it seems a bit muted. Some caramel sweetness. The finish is short-lived. Not much complexity to keep me interested. The more I drink the less I think of this beer. This is a good beer but really falls short of my expectations. Tried this along with Red Poppy and Supplication. The Dogpatch Sour was the unanimous loser in the tasting. Again...its a good beer but there are many better options out there.
