I stopped by based on BA reviews. A very interesting place in a small, neoclassical building. They probably couldn't survive without the outdoor space. Their customers seemed very orderly in buying beer inside and enjoying it outside. It was a chilly night but it worked. It must be pretty tough on a rainy day. The selection is large with casks, taps and bottles. We had the Cantillon Gueze. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely like to stop by when it was quieter to really explore the place.

Neat vibe. Nice selection. Great to have near the station so you can arrive early and relax before hopping on the train. Nice service to boot. Small inside but bunch of seats outside. Really interesting spot.

Love this place and the cider place in the matching building across the road! One of the very best selections we saw in London on a recent trip, both cask and tap, as well as a small but very good bottle selection (available to consume there or for take away). Although it doesn't look as if it would fit, there is also a nice lounge upstairs to sit. Highly recommended for selection.

This place is a gem. It has twenty taps, bottles, and great prices. I'm sure I'll visit several more times during my trip. The tap selection is hard to choose from, which is a nice problem to have. They are generous with tasters as you decide what you want.

A kind of dirty, very hot and stuffy... The building is an old monument turned bar. Cool exterior.

Q beer was good and fresh

S not bad, fairly knowledgable, nice, not super attentive

S 200 bottles, 25 taps. Cantillon, mikkeller, American stuff, kernel and partizan

F none...

V not bad on price,

Euston is in an amazing location for me as its by the station which is always handy for a sneaky one before te train. They have a great rotating selection dependant on imports and the tap selection always has the right balance of UK and Foreign. Food is okay considering there's nowhere to cook it so bar snacks is all you get

Small place by the rail station, and an awesome place to go when I wasn’t feeling the loudness and generic beer at the hostel I was staying at. Great bottle list and a big tap list. Service was very friendly. Business seemed to pick up a lot around 5, go figure. Would recommend this place if you are in the area.

The Euston tap. This place is incredibly unassuming but don't let it fool you. Located in an old gate house from the Euston Station this building is the size of most peoples kitchens, maybe smaller. On the first floor is the big show. They have nearly 30 taps, half kegs and half cask ales. The kegged stuff comes mostly from the states but occasionally there is some local fare including ales from nearby in Europe. On top of this they have a healthy selection of bottled beers in fridges. The selection is quite remarkable and I've found many beers there that I can't find at home in Chicago. They have a small seating area outside for those who want to smoke and a fairly large upstairs seating area with bathrooms included. The pricing is reasonable considering the selection and the bartenders are very knowledgeable and happy to answer your questions. This is a must stop for craft beer lovers in London

The Tap has been around for about a year now

I have probably visited once a fortnight on average since then

8 real ales and 19 keg taps all housed in a small 2 level stone gate house to the original Euston Statin

The real ales can be as cheap as £2.70 a pint for a 3.something % session beer, which represents excellent value for CLondon

The cask ales are typically British micro's, Bristol Beer Factory and Thornbridge being regulars

The kegs will contain American, Czech, Belgian and German and also British - often Brew Dog

I had a Dark Lager from Calvers, a keg only (I believe) Suffolk brewery on Tuesday of this week (18th Oct), had bever heard of them - so the Tap always throws up interesting and unusual offerings

They have 4 large fridges packed full of bottled beers from around the world

The pricing is a bit cheaper here when compared to The Cask or the Craft

No food available but I think you can order in pizza?

The gatehouse opposite has signage up for the 'Cider Tap'. I was told back in the summer that this was likely to open in September, but no signs of life yet!

This place is an absolute must for the beer lover in London: accessible location, terrific charm, and huge selection of cask, draught, and bottled beer. What's not to love?

Situated in one of the old stone gate-houses in front of Euston station, you'd never guess that this was a pub until you got right up to it. I walked right past the first time I went, completely dumbfounded as to the awesomeness of this setup. The u-shaped bar takes up nearly the entire downstairs, with just a few stools providing seating against the side walls. Up the big spiral staircase are the restrooms and more seating (some of it very comfortable, some less so). Unlike any other pub I've ever seen, and extremely cool.

What really makes this place sing, though, is the selection: two good-sized fridges full of a huge range of bottled beers (I was pleased and a little pissed to see a number of American breweries that I can't get at home in CT), including some true gems - Cantillon, anyone? The draught and cask lists are displayed on twin chalkboards, and both contain plenty of stuff I didn't see anywhere else in London, including terrific real ales from Summer Wine, Thornbridge, Dark Star, and many more. There was some pretty good turnover between my frequent visits, too, so I was never without a new option, even staying predominantly on the cask side of things.

The service is pretty standard, but considerably more knowledgeable about beer than most barkeeps I met. No one here is going to think you're insane for ordering a beer over 5%.

If you want a full food menu you'll be better of going down to Pimlico to the Cask Pub & Kitchen or the White Horse (the only places I found that could truly rival the Euston Tap's selection), but for a straight-up place to drink lots and lots of good beer (at pretty darn good prices, at that), this place is hard to beat.

Checked this place out on a recent isit to London.

About 6 cask ales, most if not all are English micro brewed cask ales. Another 12 or so taps with mostly English ales, and a few American/European craft beers. Then there is the fridges which contain a wide selection of American and European craft brews. Founders, Southern Tier, Dogfish Head, LOTS of Mikkeller, a couple Cantillon beers (kriek and classic is all I think I saw). It's located in a sort of roman column that you would never think was a pub at first glance. It's fairly small with a nice upstairs area (don't get too drunk though cause it's quite the windy circular staircase). My English uncle was impressed, so if you are with English relatives don't hesitate to take them here. I hadn't heard about this place until I went to CASK Pub & Kitchen (which is by far the coolest pub I went to in all of London). This is quite similar, but does not have the same amount of selection at least in terms of bottles.

As the two below reviews have mentioned, this is an unusual place for a bar (and easy to miss!) Being one of the two old stone Lodges outside Euston Station on Euston Road. U shaped bar with beer taps on rear wall (as in many US bars) with marvellous ever changing beer selection. At time of visit some Thornbridge beers and included 3 Belgium and 3 German beers in addition to huge bottle selection.

Not much seating downstairs, but climbing up a tricky narrow cast iron spiral staircase are more seats and some very basic toilets! Some seating outside on the pavement and adjacent decking area.

Certainly worth a visit with in this area, but dont expect comfortable surroundings, more likely standing room only!

Prices reasonable for central London.
