Small brew pub on 17, in the Avondale neighborhood. Intimate space, low lighting, laid back tunes and vibe. Super cool bartender/brewer/owner. Thirty gallon system, with tasty, unique on site brewed beer on tap and in bottle for take away. Local and national handcraft both on tap, and bottled. A handcraft find and must visit pub.

Having stopped by a few times, I'll give it a review...
First off, this is a small place - get around 20 people in here and you're looking at a full house. That has its pluses and minuses - its a pretty quiet place, that you can actually have a relaxing conversation in, with a good beer. But show up when there's a big group there (as I did on my first visit), and you might feel like you've stumbled into a private party where you're the odd man out at the bar. There is one TV, but the volume is never on, so that's nice. They've managed to touch things up a bit over the last 9 months, and the bar now has a much nicer / cozier feel.
Service has always been top-notch. They usually have just one bartender in the house (there have been a few different ones throughout my visits), but they do a good job of keeping customers happy and are knowledgeable about what they're serving.
Not a mindblowing selection, but what they have is very good. 5 or 6 taps and probably ~25 bottles. There's usually something local on draft which is a big plus. Happy hour gives you a dollar off all (already fairly priced) drafts. Not much food to speak of - they have a cheese plate and I think that's it - besides some pretzels on the bar.
Overall, a nice place to have a tasty brew, in a more laid-back / chill environment, with a friendly, beer-smart staff.

A: This is a small, cozy, clean little place. It's very mellow and fairly quiet - at least in the times I've been in there. This place has an easy to like, laid back attitude.
Q: Most of the beer available here are high quality. No mainstream garbage to had.
S: The bartender has always been knowledgable and attentive every time I've been in there.
S: A good selection of beers on tap: Stone Arrogant Bastard, Westbrook IPA, Foothills People's Porter, Bear Republic Racer 5, Coronado, and Ballast Point. While the bottle selection was good (more Stone, Avery, Ballast Point, Smuttynose, Victory, etc.), I almost wish it was longer. Still, a very good selection.
V: Prices were pretty reasonable. Most of the drafts were $5. Some of the bottles are a bit pricey (Ballast Point Sea Monster, e.g.), but that's to be expected.
Overall, this is a cool little place with a good selection of craft beer.
