Smell: let's start with smell since its the first of the senses that is stimulated as soon as you crack it open. It is a full on on blast of citrus and a little bit of pine. Very pleasing.
Appearance: pours a coppery pale with pretty good clarity and a nice white foamy head. Looks enticing.
Flavor: It has a big bold up front hop bite while still maintaining a caramel-like backbone. While I don't personally like a lot of caramel malt in my IPAs, this one has just enough of it to make it a well thought out beer.
Mouthfeel: it is medium bodied with a nice resiny finish that let's you enjoy the flavors well after the sip.
As my review might be a little biased since I help out at Blackrocks, this review is my honest opinion that I would give to the brewers themselves. Well done for a small brewery that is making a name for themselves.
