Pours a murky golden-orange with a foamy tan head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Tiny particles of sediment are seen suspended in the beer after the pour. Smell is of dried citrus peel, tropical fruit, earth, spice, and Belgian yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, earth, dried citrus peel, spice, and Belgian yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop and spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty, but I think the mix of aromas I am getting is slightly better.

Appearance - Pours a deep yellow with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - spicy earthy, floral, and leafy hops, fruity esters (apple, orange, pear), hint of coriander, pepper, hint of candied sugar, bready malts, and earthy belgian yeast.
Taste - spicy earthy, floral, and leafy hops upfront. The fruit esters (apple, orange, pear) and hint of coriander come through next. The pepper, hint of candied sugar, bready malts, and earthy belgian yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth with the slightest hint of alcohol lingering alongside the elements of the brew.
Overall - A highly dangerous brew from Sound as the ABV is well hidden. This one is a pleasant tipple for those that are wanting to branch off and try something different.

Medium: Capped, tulip glass.
Opacity: Clear with a slight haze, to cloudy with the yeast.
Color: Golden with low activity.
Head: Foamy and bubbly beige 2 finger.
Legs: Good lacing and decent swirl reaction.
Smell: Honey/Apricot/Butterscotch.
Taste: Orange/Banana/Floral/Wheat/Coriander.
Feel: Pale esters/Belgian yeast/Mild spiciness/Bready.
Body: Medium oily and smooth, holds up well as it warms.
Carbonation: Slightly prickly and moderately crispy.
Overall: Alcohol is well hidden, easy to drink and decent warming feel. Aged so the hops could be muffled, yet I find it fairly well balanced as it is. High quality craft.
Visual 6/10 - Flavors 8/10 - Sensations 8.5/10 - Balance 8/10 -
Freshness 6/10 - Intensity 7/10 - Complexity 8/10 - Appreciation 8/10

I like a strong beer as long as it doesn't have that taste of alcohol on the after bite. This beer is strong full of flavor and no alcohol taste. If you like ales pick this up. I recently tried Pike Brewing's Monk's Uncle and would not suggest it. If you're looking for a strong ale buy this, you will not be disappointed.

An amber color with a frothy cream colored head.
The Belgian yeast, candied sugar, baking spices, and pepper is there in the aroma along with a spicy pineapple like fruit, phenol, and apple/pear.
The hop flavors plow through the base snd use it as a backdrop. Peach and tangerine with green pepper and floral/herbal flavors overtop of apple, coriander, and cloves. Resinous and prickly finish.

On tap. Poured a clear, golden-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of caramel, toffee and dried fruit. Sweet caramel flavor with green apple and a spicy bite.
