Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty orangey color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits with some unrefined grainy notes is not as I was expecting. Taste is also dominated by fruity tropical hops notes with some unrefined grainy notes and some light residual sugar notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol. Not bad but something appeared to be a bit off with the malt bill.

This is a top 5 beer for me. Loaded with citrus and tropical fruit throughout. I love the belgian ipa style amd this is an excellent examplem. Hides the alcohol very well. I could drink this all day. If you like citrus ipas find a way to get your hands on this beer.

I rated this one relatively high. I want to note (more for my future self) that I feel like this rating reflects my opinion of this beer considering what it is meant to be. There is a welcome sweet Belgian yeast flavor.

Side note, I dropped the appearance as I wrote this because I noticed some cloud and sediment. It still looks very much how you want it to look.

Enjoyed 12 oz. on tap at Beer Revolution in Calgary. Arrived in a tulip glass, a cloudy orange-yellow with a light dappling of white bubbles. Smells like underripe bananas and orange rind, well-spiced with phenols that run the gamut from allspice to light bandage, with a honey-sweet undercurrent. The first sip reveals a thinnish well-attenuated body with some residual sugars nevertheless providing a "coating" mouthfeel. Maybe just a hair chewier than the average tripel. Rich bready malts, honey, pears, sour lemon, allspice, and the aforementioned green banana all greet the drinker. This is less clean than a golden ale like Duvel and conveys a tripel-like sweet booziness, some yeasty funk, and a good measure of spicy and medicinal phenols. Finishes citric and tangy, with some pine-like hop flavors popping in to say hello. Very enjoyable Belgian that falls somewhere between a few different styles. Sort of comes across like a weightier, far more flavorful Leffe blonde.
