A- 4.5 Nice looking brew. Transparent light burnt orange color. There's a finger of smooth beige head that settles to a quarter inch throughout. Ultra smooth bubbly lacing with active carbonation. Somewhat slippery, somewhat sticky as well.
S- 4 There's a citrus/hop punch to the nose at first smell. Grapefruit and hops, that's pretty much it. Nice, although I don't get much else.
T- 4 Like its scent suggested, the Sneaky Pete tastes of citrus and hop oil. There's a hint of malt sweetness inside, perhaps a touch of honey, but the others dominate. Good but straightforward. Slightly bitter finish.
M- 4.5 A hair under medium in body. Crisp going down, and a great carbonation level that coats the mouth well and then finishes smooth and almost creamy even. Just a bit dry on the finish, but not too bad.
D- 4 This is a solid IIPA and is quite enjoyable. I could enjoy a few, and the 'Sneaky' is fitting as it sits at a decent 10% ABV and I didn't feel all that much heat considering. It has good flavor and feels very nice overall despite a slight dryness that is fairly common to the style. I'd recommend this one to fans of the style with no hesitation... Provided that it is fresh.
I'm surprised to not see a little better feedback after seeing its ratings now, and I wonder if freshness could be an issue potentially. I picked mine up as soon as it hit the shelf, for what it's worth.

P: 12oz bottle into a perfect pint glass.
A: A cloudy amber color with a two finger creamy tan head. The lacing is awesome, forming rings after each sip all the way down the glass.
S: Lots of caramel malt along with grapefruit and pine hops. It's not super complex but inviting.
T: Wow, the alcohol in this beer isn't shy. You taste it on your tongue as well as in your throat, it's not super intense but I like the alcohol flavors to be more subdued in my beer. Alcohol up front, followed by the caramel malt and citrus rind like hop flavors. A decent balance of all three but the best Imperial beers can hide the alcohol with even higher ABV's than Sneaky Pete.
M: Somewhat heavy, coats your mouth, creamy in texture. Nice.
O: A solid Imperial IPA but not in the top tier of the style. They didn't do a good enough job of hiding the alcohol to make it one of the best. Otherwise it's fairly well balanced and has the malt and hop flavors you'd expect.
