A - Pours a deep copper-redish color. Slightly hazy. Off white head is 2 fingers easy. Generous lacing.
S - Smells of grapefruit and other assorted citrus fruit. Light piney aroma is present too.
T - Grapefruit/Citrus, caramel sweetness, rye bread and honey aftertaste. Hop bitterness & rye malt really lingers.
M - Full bodied and smooth. Honey makes this brew ultra smooth, yet a little sticky. Carbonation is in check and doesn't take away from the malty backbone of this brew.
D - This is a very interesting DIPA. The rye and honey malt really make this one stand out. To be honest, I didn't know what to think at first. It has really grown on me! It's a unique DIPA and one I'd like to return to in the future. I love that it's local, too.

P: 12oz bottle into a perfect pint glass.
A: A cloudy amber color with a two finger creamy tan head. The lacing is awesome, forming rings after each sip all the way down the glass.
S: Lots of caramel malt along with grapefruit and pine hops. It's not super complex but inviting.
T: Wow, the alcohol in this beer isn't shy. You taste it on your tongue as well as in your throat, it's not super intense but I like the alcohol flavors to be more subdued in my beer. Alcohol up front, followed by the caramel malt and citrus rind like hop flavors. A decent balance of all three but the best Imperial beers can hide the alcohol with even higher ABV's than Sneaky Pete.
M: Somewhat heavy, coats your mouth, creamy in texture. Nice.
O: A solid Imperial IPA but not in the top tier of the style. They didn't do a good enough job of hiding the alcohol to make it one of the best. Otherwise it's fairly well balanced and has the malt and hop flavors you'd expect.
