I go here about twice a month since it is really the only brewery near where i live where i dont have to drive an hour.
This is a regular at Main Street and is my fav there. It has a typical stout appearance and smell of coffee and bitter chocolate.
The taste is wonderful. A little bet on the thiner side of most stouts but its what makes it so easy to drink. It has a nice creamy flavor with bitter sweet chocolate taste.
It has a nice creamy mouthfeel that is good for a milk stout.
I could easily drink this the whole night. One of my favorite beers and im craving it right now.

My girlfriend ordered this one on our recent trip, and as she isn't a big beer drinker, I needed to help her with this (oh, darn!), even though she really liked it.
Pours a deep dark opaque brown/black with minimal head. Aroma is sweet, malty, and roasty caramel. Flavor is dark chocolate, but with a creamy, milky sweetness that showed absolutely no bitterness at all. This beer had balance in spades. Stout is not one of my favorite styles, but this one is a real winner. Recommended.

Pint at the brewery in Corona on Friday night, reviewed from notes, color is a very dark brown teetering on being black, 3/4 inch creamy light tan head that stays around for about five minutes, not much lacing, smell is made up of chocolate, grains, oatmeal, milk, very mild coffee, and caramel, flavor starts off slightly sweet with some cream, roasted malts and chewy cereal-like malt in the middle, finish is also roasty and a bit dry but the sweetness is still there too, seems to be a bit of booze and molasses in the finish, roasty, sweet, and very chewy mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, lighter carbonation, could drink a little more maybe, can be heavy at times, gets sweet as it warms and the drinkability suffers a lot then, might drink again, worth trying

Wow! With the look and feel of this stout you'd expect to see it being dispensed from the oil pan of a 1959 Cadillac. Very rich and thick (just like my women) in taste with a strong smoked barley finish. We were very fortunate one night and received a pitcher of this wonderful stout straight out of the fermentation tank, poured by the brewmaster himself. What a treat! Very different indeed. Black Pearl goes very well as a nightcap after a dozen or so Hop Daddy IPAs over at the good 'ol Main Street Brewery.
The king recommends drinking this beer with a scoop of pecan praline ice cream.

Appearance: The nitro pour produced a 45 second bloom. The resulting liquid is as black as a mineshaft at midnight capped off with a ½ finger of creamy tan foam
Aroma: Roasted malt (of course!) dominates the nose with coffee and hints of chocolate play second and third chair respectively. Background notes float about with a sweet yeasty presence
Taste: Big roasty malt assaults the back and sides of the tongue whilst CO² and yeasties co-mingle together. This is a well-balanced sweet stout with a nice hoppy finish.
Drinkability: Thanks to quality ingredients and the nitro tap, this beer has a velvety smooth feel with excellent mouth-coating properties
Drinkability: Goes down smooth...a 'must-try' while visiting Main Street
