A long-time customer favorite at our Pub, the IPA is full of flavor aroma from Simcoe Hops, yet very smooth and easy to drink!

LOOKS: Slight haze, light amber, with a finger of white head that sticks to the glass.
AROMA: Apricot, light tropical and stone fruit.
TASTE: Astringent, but quite a few fruit flavors that I mentioned above. And a lemon drop candy sweetness to it. Bitterness is there, midway through the taste.
FEEL: Nicely carbonated, dry on the finish, and medium-ish body.
OA: Nice fruit flavors, and a building bitterness. Just a bit too astringent for me.

12 oz can - Canned on 08/31/18:
Pours hazed golden with a foamy white lasting head. Lacing sticks.
The smell is of herbal/floral spicing. Very mild.
The taste is of mild pine with a slightly metallic note. Caramelized dough takes off the metallic edge. A mild spicy bite in the finish, Just enough to let you know it's an IPA.
It has a creamy body.
A decent enough IPA. Barely an IPA though. VERY mild. Easy to drink. Nothing special. This would get lost in a shuffle of IPA's. Too many good ones out there. They need to tweak this one.

First had Trooper at the SunUp brewery, Phoenix, on cask into faceted mug. Hoppy but not bitter, and light on the malt, this is another deft desert IPA.

Bottle share at Steve's. Kind of a soft, mellow IPA, got lost in all of the big beers surrounding it. Not much to remember it by, rather average IPA.

This is old school IPA territory, so if you can't handle some bitterness and healthy malt backdrop, GTFO. As for me, I think it's actually rather tasty, though, again, definitely a throwback. Interesting nose, some lightly earthy/grapefruity hops and what I swear is something almost smoky/meaty. Could be the malt, perhaps, as the palate offers a lightly caramel + toasted biscuit malt backing to solidly bitter hops, again the earthy/touch of pine/touch of grapefruit notes intermingling. The feel is nice, slightly dialed down carbonation; you could imagine a cask pour of this quite readily. Bronze in color, clear, thin head, nice lacing though. While I enjoy a good juice bomb, I also enjoy a good, refreshingly bitter IPA, and this fits the latter to a tee. Recommended.

Nice amber appearance, 1/2" off white head. Aroma was not dropping enough, especially for being simcoe?
Bitter, minor hop flavors of grapefruit. Nothing below average about it, but nothing really separating itself from average either. Easy enough to drink, you've had hundreds of ipas similar to this probably.
