Pint glass filled from 15 minute old growler fill.
Pours clear, dark red-brown; near opaque with a decent sized but weak beige head.
Lots of sweet caramel malts in the nose but the flavor is dominated by darker roasted malts. Excellent and balanced aftertaste with some coffee and a hint of dark chocolate.
Feel: medium body and carbonation.

Served from tap into a shaker. Poured A massively dark brown with a half finger tan head that subsided to a minimal amount slowly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, roasted malt, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and earth. The flavor was of sweet malt, cream, earth, milk chocolate, and earth hop. It had a medium feel on the palate with medium carbonation (almost velvety). Overall this was a pretty decent brew. While this one was quite tasty and pretty well balanced, it wasn't other worldly sadly. However, if you are a true porter fan and have never tried this one at least once, shame on you!

Draft at Sesame Burgers.
Slightly darker than cola dark brown pour. Pretty much no head or lacing.
Aroma, a minerally and earthy toasted malt and chocolate.
Taste, best part here where it counts most at least. Nice chocolates, peat, caramel, toasted malt. Reminded me a bit of a light oyster stout.
Lighter and easy drinking. Heavy side of light bodied. More carbonation than the appearance showed. Went well with the food, don't be afraid of it filling you up.

Very dark brown. "Coca-Cola fizz" colored head.
Chocolate milk and slight sharp, metallic aroma.
Earthy roastiness and cocoa flavor. Bitterness lingers on the tongue.
"Thinnish" mouhfeel. Average to high amount of carbonation.
Overall, this beer fits well within the style guidelines, and is a decent brew, if you like porters.
