I grabbed this on the way out the door when I was at the brewery today. They never seem to have this on tap for some reason.

A: Poured an unfiltered, red wheat color. Just what I was hoping for! The nearly solid white head stuck around at at least a finger or so for quite some time.

S: I got more wheat than actual cherries, with something in the background that sorta reminded me of a Belgian yeast strain. Sort of like Troegs Mad Elf -.

T: Ah.... I got a hint of the cherries there. For what it is, it's rather outstanding. Lots of wheatiness, full flavor, no doubt, along with a bit of magical Belgian-y quality (even though I know this is an American creation).

M: Lots of carbonation, spritzy as hell even, comfortable on the palate, with no booze detected on my part. Nice!

O: Despite some of the local haters on here, Blue & Gray does some nice stuff at times. Hell, I'll take this over Sam Adams "Cherry Wheat" any day!

Thanks to oelergud for this...
Appears a hazy gold with a small white head that leaves scattered lacing around the glass.
Smell is of light, mild cherry, honey mild diacytel, and American wheat.
Taste is of the same aromas minus the butter...not bad.
Mouthfeel is smooth & wheat-like with a mild semi-dry finish.

Sample provided from a 1 liter, flip top, courtesy of weeare138.

Poured a medium and cloudy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of light cherries, light wheat, and some what buttery. Tastes of cherries (although stronger than the aromas, still on the softer side), and wheat with a malty sweetness to it.

Cloudy sun golden body. Nice big white head that quickly dissipates to an uneven float. Pretty good lace all the way to the bottom.
Smell is pleasant marzipan with subdued cherry notes all on top of faint caramel malt scents. Very much like stepping into a confectioners shop.
Taste is great. Honey, sweet spice, almond paste not quite marzipan. Balanced well as all the sweetness does not become overwhelming, the hops are there but letting the malts take the wheel. Aftertaste of briefly strong honey then slowly fading almost completely away after which the hops take over and make themselves known.
Mouthfeel is a full medium as the style requires. Slightly dry finish.
Pleasant enough to be a session brew and unique enough to stand alone. Blue and Gray have done it again!
