375ml bottle thanks to the person I trustee for. Appearance was a pinkish red, not quite purple color, no head. Aroma was brett, touch of funk, a mild hint of fruit. Flavor was slightly tart, brett, again only the mildest hint of the blackberries and I know what they taste like since i eat them weekly. I was a little disappointed in this and felt like the regular L'brett D'or that I've had is better. I feel bad for you guys who shelled out the money for the reserve club last year, the beers have been overwhelmingly disappointing.

375 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Deep reddish purple body. Small head when I pour it, but it settles to nothing.
Smell - Lots of blackberry. Oak. Kinda yogurty.
Taste - Dry, tart blackberry, but it dies off before tasting jammy. That yogurt tartness comes back. Oaky in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium light body. Nicely tart, but not quite sour. Medium low carbonation.
Overall - Simple, but nice.

Appearance - light purple with a thin pink lacing. decent amount of lacing after aging a year
Smell - huge tart flavor right out of the gates followed by a berry smell
Taste - lots of tartness right away like the smell, followed by the sweet berry flavor you smell. Acidity finish to this one.
Mouthfeel - pucker up for this one, but the fruity finish is quite enjoyable
Overall - this one aged nicely. Crooked Stave has put out many fine beers and this is another example.

Bottle pour at the 2014 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, CA.
Pours a hazy dark red with a foamy reddish-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with malt, grain, berry, and Brett aromas. Taste is much the same with sour malt and berry flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
