A 375ml bottle, bottled in September 2015. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A hazy reddish orange colour with a one finger light pinkish head that dissipated fairly quickly, while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Tart, sweet cherry, oak, and funk.
Taste: Lightly sour and tart with sweet notes, cherry, oak, light funk.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: The cherry comes through nicely and much more than both Petite Sour cherry variants, so I definitely preferred this more.

Dark red and murky in complexion. There's a fingernail of beige around half of the rim. The aroma is of faint cherries. I'm tasting tart cherries with a hint of funk. This is not overwhelmingly tart. The mouth is acidic and moderately carbonated.

A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to a deep red topped by half a finger of pink head that fades quickly leaving no lacing
S: Smells of sour cherries with a little leather and some funk. This is a young bottle so the fruit is still very forward
T: Taste is sour cherries up front just dominate the palate. the leather, oak and funk try to come through but the cherry is too powerful. Swallow is more cherries and oak with some slight lingering funk but mostly cherry.
M: This beer has a moderate amount of body with carbonation that is slightly prickly. The acidity gives this beer a dry finish.
O: Overall this beer is really impressive. It has some great flavor but the complexity is a little muted since the cherry is just so forward. Still and enjoyable beer to drink though and worth a try.

375 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 9/2015. Pours lightly hazy pinkish/reddish orange color with a 1 finger dense light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy cherries, fruit skin, lemon, lime, plum, green apple, red grape, almond, toasted oak, hay, straw, wheat, and cracker; with light leathery/musty funk, pepper, vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, sour cherries, oak barrel, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy cherries, fruit skin, lemon, lime, plum, green apple, red grape, almond, toasted oak, hay, straw, wheat, and cracker; with light leathery/musty funk, pepper, vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness; light yeast/oak spiciness and fruit tang on the finish. Lingering notes of sour cherries, fruit skin, lemon, lime, plum, green apple, red grape, almond, toasted oak, hay, straw, wheat, cracker, leathery/musty funk, pepper, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, sour cherries, oak barrel, and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from tart/sourness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately acidic/grainy, and fairly tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an awesome fruited sour/wild ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, sour cherries, oak barrel, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced lactic/tannic/drying finish. Very well rounded Brett complexity, big cherry fruit flavor, and nice oak presence; without being overly lactic. A really enjoyable offering.
