Just not that appealing a fruit flavor. Earthy and muddled. Somewhat yogurty

Pour is hazed ruby red with a pink hued white head. Nose is light wood, seltzery brett, faint touch of dustiness, moderate berry sweetness. Flavor is much more aggressive currant, a hint syrupy in the feel and flavor, brett is real light, strong off acidic mineral mid palate, lightly bitter finish.

375 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Deep purple body. Big white head. Strong black currant aroma. Musty. Acidic smelling and kinda yeasty. The taste is more acetic than I expected. Quite sour. Some currant, but not as distinct as the aroma. Medium body. Medium high carbonation. Another overly sour Crooked Stave beer. A little disappointing.
