750ml bottle - batch 8/11, bottle 391/1125. Lots of carbonation - open carefully. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a huge fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is bready malts with lots of orange rind and brett and some floral earthy notes.

The flavor is milder than expected. Sweet tart oranges and some acidic funky brett. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with slightly sharp carbonation and is slightly watery.

Overall, I really like this one. It's milder than expected, but is well balanced. I really like how the orange and brett go together.

Very drinkable and refreshing wild ale. The brewery's reputation is growing and this was my favourite in the batch sent by JB. Peachy coloured body with lots of fluffy white head. Bretty flavour, and enjoyable if you like that sort of thing. Light, yet a sipper.

A: Tangerine hue with a thin but stead head; it is a gusher; okay lacing

S: This is funky: barnyard musty funkiness with orange peel and other citrus aromas mingling together; this smells so fricking awesome

T: Crisp, funky, musty; the fruit plays so well of the musty barnyard funkiness--not near as cheesy and funky as aromas indicated but awesome

F: Medium body, creamy and lightly carbonated

O: This is a lightly fruity, funky and awesome beer

Yet another fine wild ale courtesy of Mark, thanks for sharing!
Quick review from written notes.

Pastel orange coloration, slightly hazed with visible trails of carbonation.

Fruity aromas of peach or apricot, pleasant and inviting.

Creamy feel, tart fruity notes up front of orange pith and banana esters from the yeast, and finishing fairly dry. It makes for a nice creamsicle impression, and is very clean and drinkable. Really enjoyed this one, and hope to seek out more someday. Simplicity is underrated, and this comes off as simple at first, but is nicely nuanced.

Pours a light cloudy orange with a finger of white head. Good spotty lacing down the glass. Definitely a gusher.

Smells of tangerines and slight spices. Very unique aroma.

Starts off with some citrus flavor and spice. A little bit of brett peeks in, but it is far from overpowering. Finishes with a nice orange peel bitterness.

Enough body and creaminess on the mouthfeel with good carbonation.

Better as it warmed and a very solid overall beer. Lots of good complex flavors and just a bit of sourness. I approve.

Poured from a 220z Bomber into New Belgium snifter

A: Pours a great hazy golden color with a white head.

S: The orange flavors really come across. There is also some brett tang in there

T: Wow, there is some great flavor here. Some wonderful orange fades to a slight tartness from the brett. These are extremely poignant flavors that come across really well.

M: Nice and not overbearing. Some great carbonation in there

O: I have loved almost everything from Chad at Crooked Stave. The beers being made there are truly unique and push the boundaries. This one is another example of this. Wonderful flavor and a truly unique experience. Will be keeping one of each of these series so I can eventually drink the rainbow!

A- Cloudy, orange hue, nice fluffy white head retention

S- Sour Brett notes and has a light and delicate aroma. The beer was very saison-like

T- Very smooth profile and I really enjoyed the nice Brett complexity. The beer isn't overly sour and it had good orange notes. A very interesting and good drinking experience as different things seem to come out at different points.

M- It seems normal

O- Very complex and very easy to drink. I picked up a bottle at the brewery and wished I purchased two since it was very unique and a great beer.
