Traded for this a long time ago when it first came out.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a murky garnet hue with no head at all. Decent legs but other than that it's still.

S - Aromas of funk, sour cherries, light bourbon, little oak, complex. Deep inhales though bring up something a little medicinal.

T - Taste is very vinous, tart, tangy cherries, funky, vinegar. Not quite puckering, decent barrel notes, oak, faint faint bourbon. Almost flanders like in the sourness and darkness going on here. No alcohol.

M - Mouthfeel is very lowly carbonated, a bit heavy/syrupy. Not flemmy though and the ABV is hidden nicely

O - Overall this beer was unfortunately rather confusing. With more carbonated perhaps the flavour and aroma would pop some more than it did. Kind of boring on the taste...one note tart cherries and barrel sweetness. Quite unfortunate.

Been holding this for the last year. It poured with no head at all. It is very deep red/ brown in color. There is no carbonation at all, very flat. With the sourness and the heat from the bourbon barrels it reminds me of a boozy Flemish Red. I think they tried to do too much with what could have been a great beer. A wild quad or BBA quad would have been fine, but all 3 and it takes away from the product. Nice to try but don't need another.
