Thanks to mrbubbler for sharing this one at Tieman's tasting.
Batch 2012-2. Best by 4-2013.
Pours a murky yellow with a foamy bone colored head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour, tart, and funk with some acidic and fruity aromas. Taste is much the same with an acidic finish. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with some really nice aromas and flavors.

Served in a Sweetwater mini-snifter.
Lisa Lopes's Bizzaroworld self, I suppose... Anyway, this stuff pours a cloudy pale straw topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises lemon zest, Brett funk, and coriander. The taste brings in more of the same, only things are tarter, deeper. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry, sticky finish. Overall, an enjoyable wild ale, one that doesn't overdo it with the sour character. Good times.

Quick review from written notes, thanks Joe for sharing!
Murky sunkissed orange, champagne streamers rising, sheets of soft white foam lace in the glass, lasting head retention.
Fruity acidic aroma with some funky wild yeast, and a slight minerality.
Tart passion fruit, guava, Hawaiian punch, sweet tarts, dry finish. Light and effervescent feel, thirst quenching. Overall pretty nice, though the Brett d'Or was a shade better.

boo yeah! this is friggen awesome. sour golden ale aged on colorado biodynamic vignole grapes. pours an odd shade of orange, brassy and bold looking, with a small white head. the nose is incredible, really bretty and sour, with a nice sweet fruity tang, tons of funk. the flavor is also incredibly sour, in an escalating way, finishing more intense than it starts. the flavor of the grapes comes through nicely, somewhere between a white wine and a saison in terms of tartness, pleasant as anything. the alcohol is also invisible, which makes this absurdly drinkable. its almost heartburny its so sour, but its something ive really come to enjoy, especially as it warms, it gets even more intense. lighter medium budy and above average carbonation, its dry too at the end. i dont normally get off on beers that cost 11 bucks for a 12oz., but this is exceptional, entirely original, and as good as any sour beer for sale right now. get some!

Picked this one up at the barrel room, took it home. Put in a warm spot for about a month as per Chad's advice. Small bottle
Pours a dull golden color with little head
This smells like a tart sauv blanc with a bit more lemongrass.
flavors in this beer are all over the place, and the tartness brings them together in the end: light vanilla, green stem flower, lemon zest, a bit of mandarin, and that sauv blanc-ness. Dries out well to leave you wanting more.

Thanks to Paul for sharing!
A: Pours a hazy bright orange, with a foamy head on top that reduces to some random soapy bubbles on top. Nice lacing.
S: Lots of sour white grapes and white wine. I little bit of grass, oak, and a bit of must/funk.
T: Again, tons of white grapes and white wine, nice sour/tartness/ A bit of oak and vanilla, and a little bit of funk and zest near the finish.
M: Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation, great sourness. Slightly dry finish.
O: A fantastic beer, need to try some more from Crooked Stave for sure.

375 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Hazy yellow. Small white head, fades quickly. Faint wisps on the surface.
Smell - Winey character. Strong acidity. Grainy and lemony.
Taste - Really intense sourness right up front. Dies down throughout the drink. Lemony with just a bit of funk before the sourness covers it up.
Mouthfeel - Pretty heavy bodied for a sour. Medium carbonation.
Overall - Intensely sour. Nice. Not usually the type of sour I enjoy, but it has enough going on to justify it's intensity.
