Pours a hazed golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is sour, with lots of vinegar, wet oak, apparent funk and basement aromas, as well as tart fruits. Flavor is medium sour with an ever present tartness. Mild sweetness imparted from the malts as well as oak sweetness. Somewhat slick body, medium carbonation, finishes tart and sour.

Big thanks to Yoshi Optimator for this one.
12oz grey waxed bottle to a Prairie teku
2013 Batch 2

A - Soft creamy orange color with a thin cap.

S - Funky citrus, lacto tartness, french cheese, spicy, apricots, peaches, general stone fruit, dusty yeast, hints of white oak wood, pineapple, lemons.

T - Tart and funky off the top, spicy yeast, sharp lacto, under ripened pineapple, undercurrent of peaches and lemon citrus laced cheese, white wine, minerals, pale malts, grassy hops, nice sourness with the funk playing mainly to the nose. Finishes dry oaky, and snappy with salty mineral notes.

M - Light body, creamy carbonation, snappy and crisp tartness, dry finish.

Really nice funk with a sharp tart edge. The brett shined and paired very well with the oak and sour stone fruit. I'm diggin Crooked stave.
