Poured a cloudy honey color with a thin head. Smells of citrus- orange and some grape. The first taste is sour lemon citrus with some grape and has a dry oaky finish. Carbonation is medium with a medium body. Overall a very interesting and flavorful sour beer.

Bottle from CS poured into a 7venth Sun bell tulip, just because whatever.

Cloudy, pale, golden-yellow pour, with a half inch of frothy white head that receded as I poured, and held at a medium collar, leaving a bit of lacing when swirled. Lots of brett and oak in the aroma--no surprises here--notes of soured fruit. A slight wave of tartness up front in the taste, lemon, apple, peach, pear...nice that such a fruity profile can arise from a beer that doesn't actually have fruit in it. Brett, grass, and even a little subtle flavor of banana in there, with the oak coming through nicely without being overblown. Medium body, prickly mouthfeel, moderate carb. An unexpected surprise...I mean, obvious CS beers are generally good, but this one was pretty unassuming.

Syndicate hooked me up with this bottle just because he is a hell of a nice guy... Thanks Darrel!! Shared tonight with reinheitsgematt and buckeyeboy.

Pours a hazy golden.. good white head with nice retention and lacing.

Nose is chock full of brett and fruity elements that make me think lemon and underripe peaches... vinous oak may be in my imagination.

Flavor is funky and sour... great juicy tartness... saliva sucking and still inviting.. fantastic.... upper echelon sour IMO.

Light body with good bubble.

Awesome beer that I wouldn't have likely tried if not for my buddy Darrel.. Thanks again amigo.

An afterthought.... The quote on the back of the bottle is sooo amazingly douchy. I bet the brewer is an insufferable shitbag in real life.

A: Slightly hazy golden orange, little head

S: Funk, citrus

T: Big funky sour punch, lots of brett comlpexity.

M: Nice and juicy

O: This one totally caught me by surprise. I love this style of beer and would compare this particular one to Beat or Golden Canary (although not quite as good, but still really really good!)
