Bottle from CS poured into a 7venth Sun bell tulip, just because whatever.
Cloudy, pale, golden-yellow pour, with a half inch of frothy white head that receded as I poured, and held at a medium collar, leaving a bit of lacing when swirled. Lots of brett and oak in the aroma--no surprises here--notes of soured fruit. A slight wave of tartness up front in the taste, lemon, apple, peach, pear...nice that such a fruity profile can arise from a beer that doesn't actually have fruit in it. Brett, grass, and even a little subtle flavor of banana in there, with the oak coming through nicely without being overblown. Medium body, prickly mouthfeel, moderate carb. An unexpected surprise...I mean, obvious CS beers are generally good, but this one was pretty unassuming.
