Poured from tap into tulip at Falling Rock in Denver (several times)...
Nice hazy straw color with a finger of white head. Really fantastic straw and funky barnyard aroma...some citrus notes play with the funk. I believe tangelos are added to this brew...
Taste is really nice tart citrus/lemon and straw/hay. A bit of funk but not overpowering. As a comparison, the summer was a bit more tart and funky.
While I prefer the Summer over the Spring...this is still amazing.
While its amazing to get Crooked Stave on tap in lots of places around Denver, im so pumped to now be able to get bottles in NYC...albeit at $13 each.
Serving type: on-tap
