A: Pours incredibly effervescent, amber to copper in color, hazy, with a good amount of sediment. Head retention is poor, and looks flat in the glass after a while with no lacing or foam. Appetizing, yes, but a bit soda-like, with small bubbles clinging to the inside of the glass and rolling upward to the flat, headless surface.
S: Lemons! Citrusy and fresh. A bit of vinegary acid on the nose, too. Some subtle funk, with a little wisp of wheat, but none of the bready, banana, grain, or clove elements you get from some other styles of wheat beer. The wild yeast comes through with a bright sour smell of a lambic or saison.
T: MMmm! Refreshing! Big citrus, all around. Lemons, oranges, a little pith, grapefruit in the rear, but bright and sour with some nice funky notes from the yeast. Green apples and apple skins. I get something... soapy toward the end. Pleasant, though. Maybe some hints of spice like coriander, maybe even some grains of paradise... interesting. A light touch of sugar cookie sweetness and a fain hint of wheat on the finish to round it out. I'm enjoying this. Great for warm weather!
M: MMhmm... Yep. A nice balance of soda-like carbonation, almost like lemon soda, but dry, with a pretty light body overall. No froth, which is a let down, but light and refreshing on the palate. Something that coats and tingles, almost buttery, but makes the lips pucker at the finish. Drinks like a sour beer with attitude.
A pleasure to drink, but falls short of greatness. Impressed overall and would like to have this again.

Appearance: Arrives with a hazy golden color capped by a frothy head that leaves some patchy lace
Smell: Somewhat funky, with wheat bread, lemon and spicy yeast tones
Taste: Lemon and Minneola Tangelo, up front; with tartness and funk building in the middle; peppery and slightly grainy, in the finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A really nice Wit with a few twists that Crooked Stave knows how to deliver
