A- Similar to the weissbier surprisingly a little more yellow. Nice and hazy, golden, but still translucent.

S- Again, similar to the weissbier, but a more "earthy" smell to be honest.

T- Refreshing, again earthy, very wheaty but lacking the banana notes of its Weihenstephaner relatives.

M- Crisp, clean mouthfeel that doesn't linger around and ruin the exceptional taste at the end.

O- Tasty beer, my first time trying it and I was impressed to say the least.

Just chillin hard after going a lil too deep on New Years Eve and this Vitus is treating Raul quite nice. Glowing a gorgeous yellowish orange like the Newport Coast when Raul paddles out at 6 AM, this thang is alive. Taste is a bit funky and tart like when my baby mama gives me some after brushing with Colgate.

Yeah, like Raul's dentist recommends, Raul wouldn't mind having a Vitus two times a day.

Pours a clean, light straw golden, with a massive head of white carbonation. Lace is minimal, oddly. Maybe it was my glassware.

Aroma is bubblegum, clove, spices and malt grains. Absolutely perfect -- aromatic and appealing.

Taste is sweet up front, with a definite spicy character. I get honey, wheat, clove, and bubblegum. Complex, flavorful, and very refreshingly session-worthy, despite the relatively high 7.7% ABV!

A delicious brew, and highest marks.

I was expecting a darker beer when I poured into my glass but Vitus is a hazy golden yelloe color.
A bright white head forms on the pour which is quite tall. The dense and stiff head lingers for a good while and actually never really melts away but instead lingers as a dense and thick collar.

The nose is big and bold in the hefeweizen tradition but not much more. Yeasty esters of banana and cloves and a sweet malty aroma are present.

The flavor is big and bold with ripe bananas and cloves. The sweet malts gives a silky feel.
The feel on the palate is light and refreshing. Perfect carbonation enhances the feel.
Very easy to drink . I like that as I approach the end, the beer is still flavorful. Some hefe's tend to wash out or go flat as they warm. A very good beer.
