Bottle poured into a mug.
A- clean, bright golden body sports moderate carbonation. 1-1/2 finger, white head drops to a thin film. Awesome rings left on the glass.
S- lots of doughy malts. Noble hops give a spicy and slightly grassy aroma. Hopping actually seems to crank up with warmth.
T- some pizza dough or fresh, French loaf bread. Spicy hops, Saaz maybe, in the finish that really clean/dry things up. Great mix of refreshing and flavorful. A lot hoppier than the copper colored versions that have been most popular stateside.
M- clean and crisp. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Fairly dry finish.
O- I'm adjusting to the popularity of the lighter o'fests. They actually seem more in tune with what was served in the Munich tents some years ago when I attended. Great compliment to an early fall day. Refreshing in the warm sun. Robust enough to stand up to the cool of the evening. Would buy again in quantity.
