Two 12 oz bottles, 2013 vintage, into a 0.5L masskrug.
A - Brilliantly clear deep gold with meringue-like foam. Copious lacing. Looking at it makes me very thirsty. This is the perfect looking beer. Flawless; a work of art.
S - Toasted, sweet malts with a very faint herbal hint of Noble hops.
T - A beer that defines how you can have malty without being sweet. The continental malt flavor is intense and satisfying. The noble hops are just barely present. Excellent.
M - Surprisingly heavy body while maintaining drinkability.
OI - A classic example of the modern "Wiesn" style oktoberfestbier. A great beer for exploring continental malts, German melanoidins, and Noble hop characters.
