Poured from a 1pt .9oz standard pressure-cap bottle into a large weizen glass in high elevation Kalispell, Mont. Reviewed live.
A- Three-finger white head with two-minute long retention. Nice fluffy white lacing. Golden-amber color with high clarity. Fine looking beer.
S- Noble hops, kind of grassy surprisingly. European yeast character. Crisp and lighter aroma without too much bitterness from hops.
T- Slightly nutty and warm flavor with a distinct crispness, like a pilsner. Mix between Marzen and Pils. Interesting.
M- Lighter body with healthy carbonation. Semi-wet finish.
O- Middling beer and certainly not even close to the best Weihestephan has to offer... but not bad.
