pint bottle poured into a pilsner. pours a lightly hazy straw color with a few fingers of tight white head. light lacings.
aroma is of floral yeast, with a note of sweet malt. a base of grain holds the fainter aromas together, namely a bit of fruit, with very faint notes of apple and plum. solid mix here.
taste is more of the same. a bit stronger on the grainy base, but all other aromas are present on the palate. very smooth and satisfying. the flavor is not watered down or lightened in any way, though it remains crisp and refreshing.
mouthfeel is light bodied, with a smooth texture and curiously solid aftertaste is lingering fruit and malt.
drinkability is great. this is an example of a great lager brew that keeps things light, but does not sacrifice lightness for lack of flavor. cheers!
