Served in Brooklyn Brewery pokal glass
A - a pale yellow with a slight haze, bubbles coming up from the bottom (very persistent), and a white head lacing some lacing.
S - the most obvious note to pick up on is the wheat; this makes the base notes which allow the zest of the hops to contrast in a really nice and noticeable way and the and some zesty element.
T - the swallowing of the beer lets one notice the crisp intensity of the carbonation and also the dryness of the alcohol, something not apparent from just holding the beer in my mouth. the finish culminates in a wheaty-booze-ness that is great, while the aftertaste is quick to fade but is a faint (and i do mean FAINT) hint of the orange zest from the hops.
MF&D - I think I should mention I am drinking this at about 3 in the afternoon, I couldn't wait untill 5, (as my sister says, "its always 5 o'clock somewhere!") therefore I find this beer amazingly easy and pleasing to drink. though a bit thick, I do not find this to be a detriment, only it holds it back from being perfect for this style. Though the consistency is really great for a beer, and does indeed make me want to drink it all night.

I think my bottle could have been fresher as it was a little undercooked carbonation-wise.
A - Clear, bright and with a satisfyingly billowy head. I poured it in to style-appropriate glassware and it looked sort of amazing.
S - Light hop profile complimented by malt, spice, orange peel and a little hop.
T - Light hop profile complimented by malt, spice, orange peel and a little hop.
M - Light and refreshing but I'd have liked a little more fizz.
O - Beerdrinkers of the world (and by world I mean Beer Advocates) really need to recognise that there is definitely a place for lagers. This was a great way to start my session, easing in with a classic and refreshing beverage.
