A beautifully clear golden straw color. A dense and initially creamy head fills the top of my weiss glass. ( I accidentally grabbed this instead of the hefe ). The head eventually thins to soapy consistency and then a froth that covers the top of the beer as I drink. Decent lacing all the way down.
The smell is sweet malt, honey, grains and floral hops. Faint and delicate. A little corn and mustiness as well.
Taste is like the nose. Crisp but delicately malty. Sweet honey and light hops in the finish. A little banana and light biscuit/breadyness on the tongue as well. Absolutely delicious.
Mouthfeel is perfect . Light and delicate in carbonation and on the tongue. It's like the beer is kissing you in a dream.
Drinkability is beyond rating. You can spend days at the bar or wherever ( the backyard grill comes to mind ) drinking this and never want for anything else.
An excellent session beer and one to give those who may not like beer or only drink macro crud. Just wonderful.

On tap @ Library Alehouse.
A: Pours a clear pale yellow with a half-inch thick white head which fades to the rim leaving spotty lace.
N: Grainy, yeasty, faint lemon citrus, grassy/hay, spring freshness.
T: Mostly follows the nose while being crisp and nicely clean.
M: Light body and semi-medium carbonation. Smooth, yeasty and grassy finish.
O: Easy drinking. I have to ask myself, self - why haven't you had this before???

Poured Weihenstephaner Original into a mug.
A - Pours a bright clear golden with a finger of white head.
S - Some light bread, biscuit, malts. Faint hops and some skunk.
T - Light malts, more bitter hops in there as well. Mid palate getting more bread and light malt flavors. On the aftertaste just a pinch of bitter hops comes through.
M - Smooth with medium carbonation with medium to light mouthfeel.
O - A good Helles. Enjoy! Cheers!
