Had this on tap at Pizzeria Paradiso in Georgetown. Served at cellar temp in a tall pilsner glass.
Appearance is murky gold with a fluffy white head.
Nose is confectionery sweet but still spicy with hints of clove and banana.
Flavor and mouthfeel are just a wonderful experience for this beer. It's got a bold feel, but goes down easy, it's sweet but has a dry finish. Creamy and delicious. One of the most refreshing beers I can imagine. Negligible bitterness, perfect for the style.
This is a style that is perfected by the brewers of Munich. Just like it's hard to find a good American brewed Weissbier, it's hard to find a flawed German brewed one. We have this on the shelf in Mass. but I've never thought bought a bottle, now I know to bring some home!

A: full, frothy, slowly dissipating eggshell head; cobweb lattice lacing as the head recedes; hazy straw, with the final yeast pour creating wisps like cirrus clouds
S: yeast, bread, lemon, banana bread and cloves
T: malt, yeast, orange, cloves, faint bubble gum
M: medium-full-bodied; a bit of carbonated and acidic bite, at first in the rear sides of the mouth, but then spreading to the tongue; dry
O: a remarkable hefeweizen. I might be selling it short by withholding fives, but I'll certainly be revisiting this one and will reconsider.

I had previously had this bottled, but the on tap version was spectacular. The only thing I could complain about would be the price, but for a beer of this quality to a wheat beer lover like myself, it was worth a few extra shekels. I would order this anytime and anywhere!
