Pours an unclear pale orange colour. Large amounts of an off-white head that sinks away relatively quickly.
Sweet, complex smell. Perhaps not as much banana in this as in some other hefe-weissens I have sampled lately, like for instance the Paulaner. Other elements in the nose are cloves and, of course, wheat.
Dry taste, carboration is medium, perhaps more intense than in the Franziskaner, but less than in the Paulaner. Taste is dominated by wheat aromas accompanied by cloves and citrus fruits
Feels very good in the mouth. A smooth feeling that ends with a little sting. Very drinkable.
