Poured from a 12 fl oz bottle into a pint glass. Premium Bavaricum!
Appearance: Take a picture and this could be an advertisement for the global brewing industry! Fluffy white head and beautiful light golden body. Thick and cloudy.
Smell: Dry and tart. Smells great.
Taste: Fantastic banana flavor. Not too terribly sour in comparison with other wheat beers. The flavor is light and complex at the same time.
Mouthfeel: A beer for any occasion. This is very refreshing. A bit of a dry aftertaste.
Drinkability: Morning, noon or night - again, a beer for any occasion. Smooth and not a lot of alcohol.
Overall: Is this the benchmark for Hefeweizens? Not necessarily a beer for diehard hopheads nor the extreme brewing crowd, but I can see this pleasing just about everyone else!
