Appearance- A hazy orange-gold brew with a big, triumphant white head that recedes at a gingerly pace. Such a beautiful head and color as well as nice lacing that crawls down the glass as I drink it gives me everything I'm looking for in a beers appearance.
Smell- Sweet, sweet, sweet banana and clove. Also joining the party is a bit of mild citrus, maybe lemon, and wheat earthiness. I have had this brew a few times, but just now noticed that the way the sweetness and clove pair up smells very much like sweet pumpkin pie. This fucker gets the mouth watering and ready for action.
Taste- Much like the smell: banana, clove, sweet wheat and citrus that is more orange in the taste than it was in the smell. Maybe a bit of tart apple in there, as well. There's a decent amount of pepper and alcohol heat through the finish that I love. It has to have that spice to balance out that awesome sweetness. Quite a bit like its winter brother, Vitus.
MF- Crisp, snappy carbonation with a silky smooth underbelly that is SLIGHTLY watery. That is the only thing I can find wrong with this beer, and it's barely noticeable. Otherwise, the feel is exactly what you want out of a hefe.
Drinkability- Out of this world good. One of those haunting beers that has you craving it anytime the temperature is above 70. Hell, I crave it when it's cold and rainy. It's just that good.
*Note-This review goes out to one of my family pets, Toivo. It became clear while in the middle of taking notes for this beer that he'll need to be put down. Cheers to the fat French Bichon with the Finnish name.

Pours a cloudy, orangish yellow color in a weizen glass with a really nice head that leaves a little lacing on the glass as it disappears.
Smell is excellent. I get that classic hefeweizen smell of clove, and other spices as well as the wheat malts.
Taste is right on target, just as you would suspect from the great smell. I get the spices and wheat malts. Best beer I have ever tasted!
Mouthfeel is great. Good carbonation that really cleanses the pallet.
Overall, really excellent beer. I have only been rating beers a few months but this one is my favorite so far. If you want a good wheat beer you should give this one a try.
