A - Poured into a Weihenstephan glass. Pours a beautiful, murky golden-yellow. Ample carbonation rises from the bottom, and there's a creamy white head on top. I should've poured it more vigorously, I think. Great lacing.
S - Malted wheat, banana esters, clove and spicy yeast. Light floral undertones.
T - I am admittedly not the hugest fan of Hefe's, but this one is a true exception. Light wheat notes, banana affects, yeasty goodness. Hopping is not noted, but I'm sure they're in here somewhere. Clean and fresh.
M - A little lighter than I think I'd prefer, but it'd kill the drinkability to have it any creamier.
D - Absolutely killer drinkability. I could drink this alll night on a boat or alll day at a picnic. A perfect brew for warm weather.
Notes: I always avoided this because I feared freshness issues, but when I saw some brand-new in a cooler yesterday, I figured the chance of it being old would be in the distributors hands, and not the stores.
I would undoubtedly drink this again.
